Jaguar XF Lease Deals

The Jaguar XF is a sports saloon car in the mid-sized luxury car segment manufactured by the British car brand Jaguar, and was developed in time for a launch in the last quarter of 2007, in order to replace the old Jaguar S-Type.

A range of different cars in the XF lease range are available to lease or buy at the moment. Here is a quick overview of each car, before I go on to look specifically at the lease option.

The current XF Supercharged first hit the showrooms in 2009 and is still going strong today. It is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged engine which delivers an impressive 464bhp, and also features technological innovations such as Active Differential Control (an electronically controlled rear differential) and Adaptive Dynamics (which is computer controlled continuously variable damping).

The XFR was first unveiled by Jaguar at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and is marketed as a performance version of the XF. It is powered by a 5.0-litre Supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III engine which boasts a power rating of 503bhp and also features a unique front bumper and spoiler style plus 20 inch alloy wheels.

The XF Sportbrake is not yet in the showrooms, but it is due to hit the showrooms in the autumn of 2012. This new car was officially unveiled in March 2012, and will be available with all of the saloon’s current engines. It has a larger storage capacity of up to 1,675 with all seats folded down and an extended roofline to give more headroom for passengers.

There is also a special version of the XF Diesel S, which is produced for the United Kingdom police force. But this is obviously not available to private customers.

If you are thinking about taking out a lease on a new Jaguar XF car then it is well worth shopping around and asking dealers (or searching online) for special offers. Dealers are constantly updated their offers for leases and they can also vary in different areas of the country.

Choosing to take out a lease can make a premium car such as the Jaguar XF much more affordable because the monthly payments for this kind of deal will be lower than for any kind of loan option, and of course you do not need to have a large amount of capital in the bank in order to be able to make a purchase, as would be the case if you wanted to buy your new car outright.
